Your Responsibilities:
Running weekly practices and drills (supplementals provided)
Teaching weekly catechesis to the athletes (supplementals provided)
Victory Sports will provide coaches with pre-season coaches certification to ensure that the coaches are certified and prepared for the start of the season.
Victory Sports will also catechize the volunteer coaches and equip them to be intentional disciples.
Receive weekly, in-season “Victory Virtue” web portal for coaches: defining that week’s virtue, set it in the context of the Catholic moral tradition and the sacraments, and provide saints who exemplified it.
“Victory Virtue” will offer coaches precise suggestions on how to identify and cultivate that week’s virtue during both practice and competition using drills, challenges, and talking points.
All adult staff and volunteers must be fully compliant with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry program.
Assistant Coaches will help Head Coaches with above roles and serve in place of Head Coach when he/she is absent.
